((This is more like a Magic Trio X Reader so it also has Romania and Norway ^^))

"It can't end up like last time..." you mumbled in your sleep.

  ~Dream/Flashback~

A five year old ______ (l/n) ran around the village square with a ball at her feet, giggling happily as she kicked it, chased it, then kicked it again. The other kids followed her trying to take the ball away. ______ felt her foot hit a hard surface before she fell to the ground. She looked up sniffling at a boy who tripped her and took the ball.

Angry at the unfair play, ______ lifted a hand, muttered a spell, and sent the boy flying through the air.

Silence. Then, "Witch!" the children cried pointing. The chant was taken up, "Witch! Witch!"

Instantly the little girl scrambled to her feet ran away back toward her house crying for her mother who picked her up and fled the village.

"Why am I so different?" she sniffed once they were far away.

Her mother stroked her hair, "You're special dear. But some people just can't handle that kind of special. You have a great power that others will be envious of."

"Why don't people like it?" she asked innocently.

"Because they don't have the same power you do. If they don't have it, no one can, and they will try to get rid of it. That's why we need to keep this secret," her mother explained.

_____ blinked, “Well I don’t want to be different! I don’t want to have to keep it a secret. I want to be the same as everyone else! I wish I didn’t have any magic so I could be just like all the other children.”

“You can’t just get rid of it-”

“I don’t care! I wish I never had any to start with! I hate it!”

  Beep! Beep! Beep!
-----

You shot of from your bed, forcibly ripped from your sleep and hit the alarm clock next to your bed. Your eyes stung as you thought about your dream. So long ago... No matter! You slapped yourself across the face. The past is the past, it is best to look into the future.

You got ready for school, even though you had to be several centuries old, you didn't look older than sixteen. You stopped physically changing around that time, though your mother said the process just slowed and that you would grow older eventually.

Readying yourself for yet another day, you waved your hand and the bread threw itself into the toaster and cooked. After that was done you waved, muttering a few words this time, and buttered the toast. Some call it cheating. You called it life.

You let your magic do all the work, it was something your mother always told you not to do, but since she passed several decades ago you started using your magic more.

Looking at the clock you realized you were running a little late. You grabbed your bag and ran out the door. As soon as you opened the front door of your apartment it hit something with a ’Thud!’ then you heard a small, ow....

Frantically looking behind the door you saw a person sprawled out on the floor, books everywhere.

"Oh god," you started, "I am so sorry." you almost reached for the want in your shoe, you didn't need to use it for small things like buttering toast but for a pick-up like this you did. As you reached down, you stopped. You can't use your magic! Instead you quickly picked up all the books and held them out to the boy.

He sat up slowly, "Its fine, love," his voice was thickly british accented. He had short yet shaggy blonde hair, bright emerald eyes, and thick eyebrows like caterpillars.

"Uh- here are your books," you held out the books.

"Thank you, I'm just running a tad late today and didn't watch where I was going," he said quickly standing.

"So its not just me who is running late," you supplied, "I wasn't watching where I was going either."

"Oh. Well, thank you for helping with my books."

I wouldn't need to if I didn't smack you with the door.

"But I have to run, bus to catch, school to get to," he continued, "By the way my name is Arthur Kirkland."

  "______ (l/n)," you greeted.

"It was nice to meet you ______," he smiled then started down the hallway of the apartment building, "Have a nice day!"

"Have... a nice day," you said slowly but he was already gone.

You walked out to your car and started it. I wonder if Arthur caught the bus, you wondered. You didn't see him anywhere so you guessed he did. Shrugging, you started the car and drove to school.
~*~

You had English fourth hour. The class right before lunch. Right now you sat in the classroom analyzing an article with your headphones plugged into your ears playing (fav band). You highlighted another word you didn't know the meaning of and began flipping through the dictionary for it.

You didn't hear the bell ring but when everyone else stood you knew class was over. Slowly pulling the buds from your ears you started packing up. By the time you walked to the bookshelf to return the dictionary you were the last one in the room. Even the teacher left to get lunch.

You were about to put the book on the shelf when you realized the whole arrangement was jacked. Some of the books were stacked up sideways, some slanted, and all the book numbers were out of order.

Sighing, you began reorganizing it, using magic just to move the books off the shelf.   "Stupid OCD. Stupid teenagers not putting the books on right," you put the books in order on the ground then flicked out your wand to do the rest of the work. Seriously, how did people live without magic.

You heard the door open behind you and quickly shoved the last book onto the shelf with your hands dropping your wand.

"______?" you turned to see none other than Arthur Kirkland.

"Oh. Hey Arthur. Fancy meeting you here," you casually slipped your wand into your shoe.

  "Y-yes. What are you doing?"

"Reorganizing a bookshelf. What does it look like. Why are you here?" you asked.

  "Magic Club," he said quietly.

You tried not to burst out laughing. This school actually had a magic club! You didn't pay attention to school clubs otherwise you might have known that.

Instead you simply nodded, "Magic. Fun."

"Y-yeah," he seemed nervous, “we meet in this room at lunch every other day.”

"So what do you do in your 'Magic Club'?" you asked curiously.

  He perked up, "Well-"

"Hello~!" a happy voice cheered as another boy entered the room. He had strawberry blonde hair, and red eyes. He had a small top hat on and was dressed like he was from the wrong century, and you knew what it felt like to be from the wrong century.

"Hello Vlad," Arthur said slightly annoyed.

"Artie! Long time no see- and do we have a new club member?" his eyes landed on you and you weren't sure if you should shake your head or not.

"This is just _______," Arthur introduced, "______ this is Vladimir."

"Just call me Vlad," he walked over to shake your hand. It took you a moment to place his accent but you recognized it as Romanian.

  "Okay," you smiled.

The door opened again and another boy walked in. He had short light blonde hair and seemingly lifeless blue eyes.

"Lukas!" Vlad called, "we have a new member!"

"What-" you started then shut your mouth, "I suppose so."

"Lukas this is _______," Arthur said, "This is Lukas. He's an exchange student from Norway."

"Norway," you said, "Good country." what? You were slightly nervous and not sure of what to say.

  "Hello," Lukas nodded to you.

"Okay lets get this started~!" Vlad sang.
~*~

You found the club slightly ridiculous but amusing. You eventually opened up more and joined conversations. It was easy to talk to these people, maybe it was because they liked magic, not that they were really much good at it. They could pull off basic stunts which impressed you, they must be descended from some witches or warlocks.

You were tempted several times to display some real magic but refrained yourself. You borrowed one of their wands and made it look like you were just a natural at levitating objects.

"Wow ______!" Arthur said happily, "Not everyone can do magic and you just seem really good at it!"

"Ja," Lukas added, "You are a natural."

  "Very good!" Vlad praised.

You smiled feeling heat rise to you cheeks. You've always had to hide your magic and was never praised about your skill. It was always, 'keep it secret!' and, 'Don't do that we're in public!' It felt really good to be recognized for once, especially if it was just for small tasks like this.

It was your turn to attempt something, thats how the club worked, trial and error, and take turns doing it. You flipped through the book, actually you were thinking of things you knew off the top of your head.

"I got it!" you acted like you read the page then lifted your borrowed wand and muttered a few words. From the tip of the stick, a bright red light spouted out like a sparkler. You swished the wand and it turned into a red ribbon.

The three boys stared wide eyed at you, even Lukas who barely showed any emotion.

  "Oh my god-" Arthur started.

  "Beautiful!" Vlad interrupted.

You smile and sat back down while Arthur stood to try something. After a few horridly pronounced words your eyes widened. He was going to try a fire spell!

"Wait-" you started but he already pointed his wand at the piece of paper he chose as his target. Instead of the paper catching fire the tip of the wand made a popping sound and red sparks flew from it.

Throwing your borrowed wand aside, you grabbed your own and yelled an extinguishing spell. (AN: Deflammo. Thats the spell. Just in case you ever need to know. Carry on.) The sparks instantly went out and you were left standing in the middle of the room.

  Lukas clapped, "Very good."

"Hm?" you thought maybe they would be surprised or upset.

"______," Vlad started, "We knew you weren't an amateur."

"Ja. You were perfect with everything, stance, wand holding, pronunciation, and we didn't tell you anything."

  You flushed red, "Oh."

"So," you turned to Arthur as he began talking, "We wanted to test you."

"How did you orchestrate it?" you wondered confused. You have been here the whole time, and surely would have noticed if they were plotting against you.

They all answered at once, "Mind conversations."

Your jaw dropped, "Dang. You guys are good."

"Thank you," Vlad flipped his hair and you held back from laughing.

"So do you still want me in your club?" you asked though you knew the answer.

"Of course!" Arthur exclaimed, "Why wouldn't we! But- on one condition."

   You raised your eyebrow, "What...?"

All the club members eyes sparkled, "Will you teach us?!" they asked in unison.

  You smiled, "Sure why not."

And so you all became great friends, you were actually able to display your magic for once in your life. You could actually be yourself without anyone holding you back. The trio even encouraged you, praised your skill, and looked up to you. When you were younger all you wanted was to get rid of your difference, but now you realized all you wanted was to be accepted.

  And now you were.
